The purchase and adoption of dogs have gone through the roof during this pandemic. In Victoria alone, the RSPCA has received 26,000 online applications to adopt a dog since the start of the pandemic.
The infamous budgie has been a part of many homes and childhoods, and while not quite at the height of it’s previous popularity – has it become a viable alternative for those seeking pet companionship during these Covid-19 times?
