Allergies in dogs and the four-legged suffering population.

While many people will undoubtedly attest to experiencing allergy symptoms around dogs, an interesting thing to consider is how many dogs themselves are experiencing allergies?

Some indications are that as many as one-fifth of dogs may be allergic and feeling the symptoms of that. At times it certainly feels to me like we all know an itchy, scratching dog with no known other problems. While only a short read, this article from The Guardian does make you wonder how our people environments may contribute to this phenomenon of allergic dogs.
